Two internal circuits – a distortion and a preamp boost – combine to make for an incredibly nuanced and flexible drive unit. The DRV is highly interactive with its three dials. Its VOL and DRV knobs intuitively control the level and gain of the effect. The pedal's CUT knob rolls off the highs in the signal as it is ramped up, so the DRV's bluesy tones and borderline fuzziness come to life.
With straightforward overdrive crunch and colorful preamp boost saturation aplenty in this pedal, the DRV is exceptionally versatile for a variety of playing styles and rig setups.
